How do I become better organized?

I used to be REALLY organized…I would turn in all of my assingments on time and nothing was ever late. But now I never remember my assignments, I don’t turn in anything on time, and I’m ALWAYS late for things. I have tried to use a planner, but I can never remember to check it! HELP ME!!!

What I do to try and remember things is keep a word/wordpad/notepad page open on my computer, and type down whatever it is I should remember to do that day, so whenever I might get on my computer throughout the day, I’ll see and remember to do that said thing. Sometimes I make it my background in bold print.

I’m not a planner type either, and I’m beginning to forget stuff. The only way is to write it down some where. If you arent the planner type find another way. Depending on the type of phone you have, you can get reminders. Otherwise, google calendars will send reminders to your email or phone. Again, this is a little time consuming because you have to put the reminders in there, but if you cant remember it all, you gotta go a little out of your way.

what I do is I have a dedicated notebook for lists of things to do each day. if you dont like notebooks, maybe you can post a to do list on your desk or somewhere you always see it. Or, like the sticky notes in your laptop (there are tons of sticky notes/post its applications for the computer). Or like in your mobile phone, there are probably notes application there right? I really think having a list would be the best solution :S
