I sent you a “fun mail”…honestly though, this is a good question.

Things we look for in advisors:

  1. Ability to use the site (there are usability issues we’re working towards addressing)
  2. knowing how to read “fun mail” when you get it
  3. Good grammar, punctuation, etc.
  4. Loads of good advice - if you have a history of replying to people’s questions in a thoughtful, positive, and helpful way, generally, we’ll write you and ask if we can promote you.

In your case, I see you haven’t yet replied to any questions - nor replied to the fun mail message I sent to you. This was after I exchanged several emails with you, trying to help you with your login difficulty.

If you can learn to use the site, and start giving plentiful, helpful advice to people, then we’ll consider it. Thanks for asking, we do appreciate it, and consider it a compliment that people enjoy this site so much they’d like to volunteer to help others.

Best, thedude
