How did you revise for your driving theory test?

I wasn’t that sure where to put this so education seemed ok.

Anyway, basically I am looking to book my Driving Theory Test (I am English, I’m not sure if you get these in the USA but you need to do it before you take a practical) and I want to pass it first time to save money/hassle. I really have no idea how to go about learning this sort of thing because it’s very different to school learning.. so how did you do it? Thanks in advance :)

my mate took 1 a around 6 months back for his bike licence and he did it like this:

he went and bought the official DVAL test CD rom and he did a few hours on it per day, normally at night… and during the day he was reading the official DVAL test manual..

when it came to his test, which he took in coventry as all teh birmingham ones were full he got 1 question wrong by only a few metres I think… gutted he was… but he did it with the help of getting his head in a book and learning off the DVLA cd-rom ;)

practise, youll get there..

Well im irish I think its pretty much the same kind of test that we do… Over here they have cd roms and books that you can buy that have all the questions you could be asked on the test covered. buy stuff like that if its available over there… I got 40 out of 40 my first shot and I was chuffed… the test is basically common sense anyway so you will fly trough it !! Xo:)
