How could he have brung up sex in that one question?

okay so um my friend guy asked me asked me and my sister if we had boyfriends we both said ‘’no’’ and he said ‘’I don’t understand how you two can stay single that long’’ …was that a good or bad thing when he said it?? AND how did he bring up the subject of sex in that one question??

That was totally meant as a compliment. It means he’s attracted to both of you. And the longer he’s known you, the better it is- because the compliment was not just based on looks, in that case. In another context, depending on the convo up to that point- he could just be wondering how other people could go a while without sex or a b/f or g/f. I know lots of people who can’t be single long- most of them don’t realize it tho.

Any guy wants to bring up the subject of sex all the time! He’s waiting for the opportunity to bring it up, or does his best to turn the convo that way. Other than that, I don’t really understand the question! After what he said, bringing up sex would be too easy!

By saying he doesn’t understand how you’re single he is complimenting your looks. As for the sex thing I have no idea.
