How come my eyes get bluer when I cry?
Okay, so my eyes are usually blue-ish-gray color, but mustly gray. But I noticed that when I cry, then look into a mirror, my eyes turn a very dark blue. It’s weird. Does anyone know why this happens??

I think your tears bother your eyes when you cry.
my eyes are green, and they do the same thing.. kinda. they get a lighter green. I’ve been wondering the same thing myself =p

Dude, its the high contrast between the red and green, or blue, or whatever color your eyes are. The whites of your eyes change color, not the iris. When you place complementary colors next to each other they intensify one another. Then again we’re all different…like snowflakes, aren’t we…I cry and look up facts about crying…what do you do?
Your eyes become bluer because the blood vessels become wider from the saltiness of your tears and the blue in your eyes contrasts greatly with the red and makes them seem bluer.
