How come im bestfriends with a lot of boys but nothing more?

Well when I talk to them alone I feel pretty but when im talking to him around my friends I feel the ugliest out of them all. ALL of my friends are really really pretty and most have boyfriends. I’m in 8th grade and im not the tallest I could be. in fact im pretty short. but when it comes to guys theyre all my bestfriends but never anything more. I talk to them all the time and im close to more of them then I am girls. I know for sure im not completly ugly but im the prettiest either. I have blonde hair and blue eyes all my friends say im pretty but I’ve never thought I was. I also have freckles not just on my nose like some people but on my arms too. my face isnt really bad nor my arms but theyre still noticable and makes me feel really ugly and I just dont know.

Wow haha yewr discription sounds just like me xD yew are just self concious yew need to lighten up and know that yew are beautiful and maybe yewr friends are just “prettier” because they have boyfriends… If yew like one of yewr guy friends then go for it ask one of em out the worst that can happen is they will say no… So what who cares life goes on and yew can find someone else this was kinds a cheesey answer but I hope it helped btw I am the same as you except I’m the only one with a boy friend out of all my friends and I feel ugly when I’m around all of em LOL

Is there a specific boy you’re interested in? If you and he enjoy spending time together, then maybe he is really interested in you, but scared to move forward. A lot of people are very afraid of rejection, so my advice is to gather your courage and ask him out yourself. Don’t wait around for someone to ask you out, because it may never happen and it’s something you might regret for a long time, or forever. The worst that can happen is you’ll get rejected, but it’s worth the chance. I promise.
