How come I hate eating around my family?

if im hungry, and I go into the kitchen to get something to eat, and someone in my family is there, I wont get anything to eat. I hate eating infront of my family. so sometimes I miss lunch because my family is in the room. although I usually tend to stay in different rooms as my family anyways. but still I get hungry. and I hate eating infront of them.

well go to your room or outside or go sit and someones car and eat there are tons of other places to go

your probably feeling self conscious (howver you spell it) about yourself, and are thinking ‘what if they think im a pig for eating this?’ and I go through the same thing. but I usually eat in my room,
