Answer #1

Tell him you love him but everything you know is in FLA. You miss your friends and old school. He should understand that as a Father.

Answer #2

call your mum first to see that shes fine with you coming back, and maybe tell her you want to come back and see if she could arrange anything?

my mom is dying for me to come back with her, but my dad and her dont have a great relationship, my dad is a huge drinker and very difficult at times, he has a low self confidence and thinks the world is against him.. although it seems as he is a bad father he cares a lot about me and my twin brother. when he is sober he is the nicest guy in the world but he doesnt drive because he got to many dwi’s he is stubborn because he thinks he is right all the time .. he is socially akward because I havent ever really lived with him before.. like I spent summers with him in recent years but never to the extent of like going to school while living here. he makes us ride bikes everywhere and to really far places where we have to rid 2 hours.. its a bit embarresing for a new 16 year old girl to ride bikes around town with her 60 year old dad… I told him and he was upset and we didnt set a date.. I think he thinks I changed my mind because its about 3 weeks after I told him. so my mom me and my mom are planning for feb. break . . how should I bring this up to himm with out destroying the guy?

Yes,First of all talk to your mother and make sure she is ready for you to come home. Then explain to your father that your a young girl and you need to be with your mother. You will be back to visit as often as you can you love him and have enjoyed your time with him very much. But you miss your mom and you need to be with her.

It should go over better then you think!
