How can I tell if this guy likes me?

So. I’ve known this guy since I was three–thirteen years of my life. We are best friends and we’ve been talking a lot lately. I realized I liked this guy for a while now-almost nine months. We started talking a heck of a lot more lately. We talked maybe once or twice a week. Then I decided I would ask him to my school’s dance. And he said yes. So we went to tolo as ‘friends.’ after that day three months ago, we have literally talked every day. He sends me good morning and good night texts. We text all day. (we would talk face to face, but we go to different schools.) I’m in my school’s musical. He came to a performance the other night, and he hates musicals. My mom asked him if musicals were his thing. Upon this question, he said, “no, I’m not the biggest fan of them. But this is really important to her. It means a lot to her so I want to see it.” I mean, does any of this mean anything? I’m head over heels for the guy. I’m just not sure how he feels. And I need some advice from other people, not just my friends who are constantly saying he does.

i definitely think he likes you. most guys do not waste their time texting a girl all day, goodnight goodmorning texts unless they are really into her. he probably thinks the same thing that you do so try to assure him you like him without actually telling him.. esp if he came only to support you and yall text all the time, it seems as if its crossing the friends into something more. good luck, hope it works out. message me if u have more questions
