How can I make my red eye less noticeable?

Okay well today I’ve noticed that my right eye is very red. This has happened to me before. My other eye would get red or pink at times and I thought it was just irritated maybe by wearing my contacts. The past ones went away on its own quickly so I’m positive it wasn’t pink eye or anything like that and I’m still positive the one I have now isn’t pink eye. It’s only red just on one side of my eye. I was rubbing on my right eye previously like the past couple of days and I think that has something to do with it. What can I do to make it less noticeable or to help it a little? I took my contacts out to give my eyes a break last night and my right eye was a little hard to sleep on because it did kinda hurt. It’s not hurting at all now but it is really annoying me at this point

Answer #1

The reason why this is, because contacts reduce the oxygen going to your eye, so that’s why your eyes start going red. Try not wearing tour contacts for a couple of hours or maybe days, you may see the difference. if not, see the options or the place you got them from

Answer #2

You should go to the doctor because you may have an infection or pink eye. Or your contacts could be dried up. Just don’t rub your eyes too much because you can transfer germs

Answer #3

I can’t remember the brand but I heard you could this eye spray that reduces redness,so I recommend you see your pharmacie if they have this product.
