How can I help my hayfever???

I have bad hayfever and I tend to itch my eyes more than sneezing or cold-like symptoms. I visid the doctor and he gave my some tablets to take once a day, but I can’t take anything else with them. Eye drops make t worse and I don’t know what else I can do?
Does anyone know of anyways that I can stop itching my eyes otherwise they puff up and takea long time to go down. Thankyou ;D

I usually use claritin, the over the counter kind. Claritin d is the best one I’ve come across, but for pets, I use zircam.

For my eyes, I also use an over the counter eye drop, opticon…however if your allergies are bad enough that you needed a prescription medicine, odds are you’d be a good candidate for the allergy shot. Mine aren’t that bad, but it’s worth asking your doctor about if the over the counter medications aren’t working and if the prescription one is failing as well.
