How can I help her?

OK so my bff recently got out of a bad relationship, and she still likes him, I think she loves him. BUt he’s a jerk, I don’t know what she see’s in him, and because he knows she still likes him he treats her like crap. Like if he said jump, she would definately say how high. And when he treats her like crap, she just accepts it, and still likes him. I don’t know how to get her to leave him alone. I keep tellin her he’s not worth it and if a guy doesnt want u, dont beg, just move on. She is smart and pretty, and talented and has a lot going for her, but when she is around him, her mind just turns to goo. And then he had the audacity to flirt wit me. I dont understand, she’s not dumb! I hate him because he keep playin wit her emotions and she’s letting him…how can I help her?

Women tend to fall for the jerks - sad but true. All you can do is be there for her and tell her how you feel about everything. In the end though, she will make her own choice and her own decision and you just have to be there to support her or help her when things go bad.

I was blinded by love just like your friend I was with a jerk as well and yet I stayed with him and my friends use to tell me everything to convince me and leave him but I don’t listen. When I got really fed up I left him I realize that it wasn’t worth fighting for our relationship, now im with a new man who does treat me with respect and cares about me. You can’t really tell your friend to leave him she has to be willing to do that in her own. Your friend will wake up eventually and realize she deserved better.
