How can I get the updates to actually update?
Okay. My family and I just got our computer back, and our updates won’t update, my dad tried to figure it out and he can’t. What can we do? My sims 3 game won’t work because the update it needs is one that won’t work. Please help! Oh, and the company is MDG. And it’s Windows XP and one from 2006.
It won’t let us do any updates here’s what it says first: The procedure entery point GetRequestedRuntimeInfo could not be located in dynamic link library mscoree.dll. then when you click “ok” it says: C:/WINDOWS/Mircosoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorwks.dll. could not be loaded. Then it just closes. So, what should I do?
open the control panel then open system and security then look for windows updates, there should be a button that says install updates if there are none to install click check for updates.

uninstall .net framework, all of them and reinstall what you just downloaded…
xp will allow you to install a fresh?
