How can I get my work back ?

Please please please help me with this one !!! I was in the middle of doing an essay for college when my laptop restarted itself :( … I had like nearly 3000 words done and now its all just gone !! is there a way of getting it back even though it wasn’t saved ?? please say there is !!!… its really urgent so please answer as quick as you can … Xo:(

Have you tried Autorecover feature??

restoring the system to a earlier time wont help at all..

its lost forever, sorry.

next time save every few hundred words ;)

Go to your start menu and click on ‘help and support.’ There will be an option of restoring your computer to as far as 7 months back in time. So if you can remember the approximate time that the computer restarted you can set a restore point for then and it will set your computer back to that time. It will take a few minutes, but it’s the only thing I can think of. I hope this helps :)

I really doubt there is a way to get it back if it wasn’t saved. If there is then it probably involves a couple grand a computer lab.
