How can I get my homework done?

When I come home from school, I ALWAYS get on the computer, like on myspace, or I do something else other than my homework, knowing I have a TON to do! And plus, I usually have softball practice. How can I get my homework done!?

Mmmm in my opinion you should get used to doing it first, so first, till you get used to not-going to the computer as soon as you get home from school, do the HW in the computer, like searching for info, essays etc, ON the computer, then leave the computer area and do the rest of the HW in another place; if not, as soon as you get back from school, take out your school stuff besides the computer to remind you it’s there waiting for you to do, and put some alarms of your ceelphones, as many as necessary to remind you you should be doing your HW, like “do HW of history”, “Read this…” etc… you have to train yourself, and think that the computer’s always going to be there everyday and every second, but not your HW cause it’s due tomorrow, or the next day etc. Hope it helps!!!

Have someone take a necessary-for-functioning piece of your computer away(like the power cord, or the moniter) until you finish your work. Or buckle down and do what you know you need to do.

Does your school have an after school homework club? It might sound geeky,but youd be surprised at who stays after for that sort of thing. try shutting your computer off when you leave for school and restreicting yourself to homework before playing on the computer. maybe dont even go near the computer,do your homework in another room,as soon as you get home.

the best thing to do is tell yourself that you should finish your homework so that you have all the time you want on the computer. if you do that you will probobly finish your homework faster.

well you could write on your hand and then it would remind you that you have homework or check your papers in your backpack

Try rewarding yourself (I do this with TV) so if you get say one assignment done then you have _ amount of time on the computer. Then you go back to your homework and get one more thing done and reward yourself again…

WELL THINK ABOUT THAT HOMEWORK IS MORE IMPORTANT MYSPACE,TV,COMPUTER,VIDEO GAMES ECT… WONT GET YOU NO WHERE.
