There is a real simple way - It wont get your hair competely straight but it works pretty well.

All you need Is

a Hair Dryer, some hair, a source of water and one of those brushes with bristles all round that are cylinder.

First Take a bath or shower and towel dry your hair so it doesn’t drip.

Seperate your hair as if you were putting it into pigtails. Then put one side upin one.

with the other side, take a small section a place the brush underneath it and turn it three times toward your head.

Then Turn the hair dryer on Hot and place it on top of the hair with the brush underneath. then slowly pull it down to the ends making sure the hair dryer is following on top of the brush do it twice on the same bit of hair and then start you whole head!

At the end it wont be completly straight but it gives it incredible volume and looks great.

Hope I helped1

Ever think of getting a straightening perm? It works the same way as a regular perm–except without the rollers/curlers. You just apply the waving lotion and comb your hair straight for 20 minutes. I always recommend you do this in a salon–they can do this with your head in a shampoo bowl, which will prevent it from getting in your eyes. It will reduce almost all of your curl/wave. Then you can just run a light, quick straightener through it to get any fly aways and be on you way.

My 10 year old son inherited my hair. Wavy and slightly frizzy. I got tired of hearing him complain about it. So yesterday, I gave him a straightening perm (I am a stylist, don’t do this yourself at home!) and he LOVES it. They were popular in the early 90’s but people seem to have forgotten about them in favor of putting a 430 degree flat iron through their hair every day.

You will still need to use a flat iron or big curling iron to give it shape, but it won’t be nearly as damaging. Just make sure you buy good quality shampoos and conditioners.

But, I always say you should love what you have. Wavy/curly hair is awesome. Switch it up–you don’t need to straighten it every day.
