How can I get my curly hair hard?

I have the same hair and I like it hard too. I came up with these two products from trying so many different ones, and they work GREAT together!!! I use “Pantene Pro-V Style Curl Defining Scrunching Gel,Extra Strong Hold” and “Hask Pure Shine Spray-It Curly”. The Pantene one is in a white squeeze bottle that had a red thick stripe on it, and the Pure shine spray is in a spray bottle that is yellow. I get these both from walgreens and sometimes CVS.

This is how I use them: I part my hair the way I want it for that day after I get out of shower, then I spary a bunch of the “Pure Shine Spray” all over, but I don’t follow the directions on the bottle! Next I put about a dollar coin size of the “Pantene Gel” in my hand an rub it between both hand then scrunch my hair, and I’m all done!

Sometime I use the “John Frieda Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hair Spray” (which is in a clear bottle with blueish cap) after I did all the above steps I spray it so my hair doesn’t get frizzy!

I know its strange that I know so much about this stuff!!! anyways, Hope I Helped!!!

Best thing ever I would have to say is: Marc Anthony Strickly Curls (yellow packaging) It’s all super good for curly hair. In priticular if you want your hair hard I would use the “Curl Defining Lotion”. It totaly works and goes for about 6.00$ at a normal drug store. Goood luuck!

Well, I used to have the same problem with my hair. But when I scrunch my hair it naturally turns into nice curls and it has amazing volume. :) I know! I’m lucky :) but, I would use hairspray… but not too much. If you use too much, it will look like your hair is damp. And, it will feel crusty and hard. Also, don’t put hairspray on top of you head or all around it. If you want the curls to stay in place spray the bottom and scrunch up. Hope that helps!
