How can I get him back and make me jealous?

I broke up with my boyfriend because i thought he was hitting on my friend. He had recently broke up with her about 3 days before we started going out. I feel like as if i was his backup or something so i yelled at him and broke up with him over the phone. I still like him I have always liked him its been about almost 2 years but I really love him. I have told friends I like him and one of them said that i shouldn’t like him cause he treated me like crap. I think that i treated him like crap and it wasn’t his fault. My other friend said that its not my fault and i can like him and eventually i will be with him. One day i looked in the mirror and thought maybe this is the problem. So i cut my hair, got a whole new wardrobe and everything. My friend taught me how to walk and how to sit and how to act. I really miss him though and i would do anything to get him back. I can I get him back?? If i should how should i make him jealous??? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
