How can I get around a piercing rule at school?

well thats a funny rule, every school in australia has a no piercings rule but then again no short skirts, bra straps or low shirts doesnt sound strict thats just basic things most schools dont allow because they dot want students looking trashy if your still allowed to wear whatever you want, and dont actually have a uniform, then its not a dress code, or strict

the principal is not rude, shes doing her job NO school that has a dress code allows piercings that a rule you have to deal with I had piercings when I was at school, I had 36 of them at the time and like the kid that I was I rebelled and you know what, I just wasted my time I got kicked out of school and al the teachers hated me no one wants to see a school kid all dressed in their proper school uniform with piercings in there face its not presentable, and youd be doing a bad job at representing the school also f soemone were to yank it or you fellon your face and busted your lip open or something, the school qould be responsible and they shouldnt have to pay for soemthing that was your fault just take themout and deal with it, its not hard when you finnish school then do what you want with your face

I dont think there should be a rule at your school about peircings, its body modificaions of your own and no one elses, if they have a problem with your expression of your personality then you should complain about how its not up to them about how you should look. its discrimative.

thank you!!! my pricipal likes to play favorites. and if your not in that group then well… your out of luck! >:( if your not in her favorites group she wont let you wear sleeveless shirts, have your piercings, and if she thinks some of your other clothing is bad; she makes you change or you get ISS (in school suspension) for an amount of time. while people in her favorites group wears provacitive clothing such as dresses that show their panties and some are so low cut they show off the girls whole chest! UGH!!! I so do not like my pricipal and it’s things like these that make me glad im graduating!!!

When I was in job corps, they made people put band-aids over their piercings, so they could stay in without being visible. I wouldn’t recommend doing that on the tongue though.

if your principal plays favourites and lets some girls go around dressed like sl*ts at school and show there panties, you really should report her because thats wrong, and she shouldnt be doing that
