How can I "fit in" at this new school?

join a club or do something you enjoy doing. I loved acting as a freshman, and I ditched my old group of ‘popular’ girls b/c they were btches. Through the school play I met my bff and now she and I are inseparable even though we’ve only been close for a year and a half, we’ve been through heavy sht. Just do something you enjoy and try to seem friendly so people aren’t hesitant in talking to you. Good luck!

Best thing to do would be to be yourself, maybe start a little conversation with people you sit next to in lessons, get to know eachother and soon you will become friends and then you’ll be introduced to other people too.

I know what you mean. my dad always makes us move. I’m still getting used to the school and its the 3rd term! I always feel like everyones just using me.

so, what I do sometimes is this: if I don’t feel comfortable with the group I’m in, I hang with another. you should try it. it usually works. today, I found out that the group that I’m usually with isn’t me, so hung out with people that know the meaning of fun. and I actually had fun! so, it really works!
