How can I find the trash can thingy?

I deleted a whole bunch of crap from my history and now I want to know if it will show up in my trash can…I dont want my parents seeing it but I dont even know if I have a trash can!!! do all computers have one??

yes J is right… you have deleted your history and your parents wont be able to see the files…

but certain software can retrace the files but dont worry as this software is very expensive and manly used by the police to search sex offenders hdds for traces of underage pornography

PS internet files you delete dont go to yuor recycle bin. they get deleted straight away..

your recycle bin by default is at the bottm left of desk top…

Your internet history? Just to let you know, deleting your temporary internet files e.g. your history doesn’t get rid of the record of it. There are hidden files names index.that files that are stored on your computer which shows your internet history… so… And its really hard to get rid of them…

If you go into my documents, go to the little address bar thingy then scroll down to recycle bin. Everything you erased should be there.

or get something like CCleaner (its free) and will scrub all your history, temp internet files, temp windows files, recycle bin, and a hole lot of other things. You can also get ‘window washer’ programs with will scrub the same info, some will also write over the info with random bits of data so they are harder to recover.

I have both CCleaner and Webroot Window Washer on my computer :D. I maybe a pit paranoid :P.
