How can I delete my old AIM screenname?

I want to delete my old aim screen name, I looked at the aim.com site and I can’t find where how I can delete it, does anyone know?

Go to the AIM website: http://www.aim.com and then type in your screen name in the ‘search’ bar. Click on preferences/manage my account and press delete. They will send you a confirmation e-mail! Hope this helped!!! :)

sorry but unfortunaty you cannot delete an old aim. I’ve tried millians of times and searched the web… and every time I sighn on to my user on my desktop and click on aim my old one pops up its sOoOoO ANNOYING!! SRRY!!! OLIVIA M <3

You’ll need to contact AIM, personally … as far as I know, there is no option to delete, unless something’s changed recently.
