How can I convince my parents to get a puppy???

I am a straight “a” student, I am mice to my sisters, I am responsible, and I kkno everything there is to know about puggles (the kind of dog I want). Yes, our family has 3 cats but I know 3 ways to train dogs to be around cats! Both my parents dont want a dog. They say it would smell, our cats wuldnt like it, it would be too chaotic around the house… I understand what theyre saying but I truly don think it would be like that. My dad took me and my 2 younger sisters to see puggles and he promised we would go aggain but my mom didnt even go and they still said no dogs. What else can I do???

Part of the problem, I think…is that dogs live for 12 to 16 years…and when you go off to live your own life…maybe college, or get married, the dog is now your parents obligation…If you got a dog today, you could be easily nearing 30 when the dog passes away…think about it…

Well can you afford it? Can you buy everything that the dog needs like food, water and food bowl, lech and a bed? Are you a good family for the dog? You might need a job to to afford whatever the dogs needs. Have fun with the dog!!!

make sure to tell your parents that you will beat your dog only once a day

I think one thing your parents are worrying about is house training, which is always an ordeal. You could get up in the middle of the night and drop a duece on some newspaper right in the middle of the kitchen floor. Then they will see that, hey, it’s no big deal, you just throw it in the garbage and it’s gone. But make sure you use lots of newspaper, and that it is a firm, relatively dry BM or it will backfire.

well take them to see a friends well-behaved dog you know and show them that you can train dogs to be behaved. Then load them down with puppy care facts to show them you know how to take care of them. Then tell them you would keep the dog outside. (If reelywant a dog wouldnt matter whether you keep it inside or out) if you know someone with dogs and cats show them they can live together by taking them to see that person. and then last but not least. tell them youll pay for the puppies care. (and if you can for the puppy itself) hope this helps
