How can I convince my mom to let me get snakebites?

Alright, im 16 years old for one thing here lol

I reeaaalllyy want to get snakebites. I’ve asked and asked and asked. But my mom keeps saying now only because she thinks their ugly. And her boyfriend just goes along with whatever she says. So I need some help. Should I wait till im 17? That’ll be this november and I can just drive myself down and get them myself. or should I just keep asking her?

Give me some advice on hwo to convince her, it would be really appreciated! Thanks! :d

I have the same exact problem!!! accept I’m only 15 1/2. Tel her that you’ll pay for them, take good care of them and everything. Ask her every now and then but don’t ask to often. She’ll just get angry lol. And if she says they’re ugly, just tell her that she’s not the one wearing them, you are. And if she says something like “I know but I don’t want to see them on my daughter” then tell her that you’ll take them our around her if she really really really couldn’t stand them that much. =] I’ve been trying this my dad says we don’t have enough money right now and that he’ll think about it. I don’t have any time to get a job, plus not many places are hiring so I can’t get a job. =/ But it really helps if you have the money for it. Oh! and ask her this, “would you rather have a professional do it, or myself do it where it could get infected?” that seemed to really get to my dad. =p lol. Hope I helped!

Just tell her you want them, that you like the style and if you don’t like them you can take them out. But mind your mother :P

Answer #3

Just wait until you’re old enough to get it by yourself.

But they are very ugly, and a bad decision.

I tried that many a times lol I even brought up the self expression thing. I think I might HAVE to wait till im seventeen xD
