How can I become a more responsible person??

The big thing is that it takes time to prove how responsible you are. Anyone can be good for a short time. Keep doing everything listed above and be patient.

haha I tried everything to make my mum think im more responsible I flew halfway across the world and survived on my own for a whole year I study more than any single person I know. my social life is dead.

honestly I dont think parents ever think your more responcible. you’re always there baby they have to protect and yell at.

if you want to just be a more responcible person FOR YOU than just always try to do whats right, and ditch the fun stuff if you need to do something important, keep your promises and always be safe.

if you want to prove to your parents I’ve found just doing the washing up or putting clothes off line and away in everyones rooms and just being nice seems to make them trust me more

oh and never underestimate the power of a hug and a kiss and an “I love you” they work magic

Get a Job and maintain it use any earned cash to help out with your bills: phone, gas, insurance, or things that you normally would expect your parent to buy bring up your grades make dinner for your family a few times a week ask them what their idea of a responsible adult is Clean in places you didn’t know existed: toilet, bath tub, inside of the fridge, vaccume, take out trash Do every ones laundry, dishes Make sure all lights are off when you exit a room, saves on the electric bill Yard work
