Well as your question is generalized–> (you never really stated what the problem was, your involvement in it etc.)

the best advice I can offer is from my many English classes where we were taught to write a letter of persuasion that consists of an Introduction: Where you state open-endedly the bare facts & your summarized assessment or ‘take’ on the matter. You can do this in the intro paragraph by stating 3 big reasons to elaborate on further in the body of your letter.

it is essential that the 3 reasons you list should have the least strongest reason in the middle of the two. Try to have the last reason as the most compelling.

After your intro, go into each reason, taking a paragraph to elaborate on it but try and remain on focus and use powerful language that will sway emotions.

In your conclusion, if you’d like state the reasons you have again but finish off with an overview of your reasons if you need to and end the paragraph with a statement that causes the person reading it to truly ponder the outcome as you would like them to.

Sorry I’m in a hurry but hope this jumbled up answer helps!

What happened was that my brother brother has bipolar. They took his IEP. The program that was helping him. My mother didnt know what she was signing until my brothers therapist told her that she signed a paper that took away the services that my brother had. My brother is 15 years old and he weighs 190 pounds. He eats like a pig and he wont let anyone else in the house eat. The medication doesnt help him and he is getting worse and worse every day. He gets in fights a lot. He hits kids 4-5 years younger than him. He talks back to my mom and he hits my mom. My mom had a meeting with the Board of Ed. and they declined the IEP. So I want to know how to let the Board know what they are making my family go through and get the services that belong to him.

We won’t be able to help unless we know what happened.
