How bad are rockstar energy drinks for you?

Answer #1

It’s not bad for you at all. It’s perfectly 100% ok, and in a lot of ways, it’s GOOD for you, so long as you don’t overdose.

Rockstar contains caffeine, which is an adinocine receptor blocker.

By blocking adinocine, (which slows cells down and prepares you for sleep) from there receptors in the brain by replacing them with trimethylaxine (which speeds cells up), you get heightened metabolism, alertness, and increased reaction times.

Trimethylaxine (caffeine) also inhibits non-essential blood flow under the surface of the skin, making more blood ready for the body. It increases the output of dopamine and adrenalin, which gives you the “rush”.

That’s all rockstar really is. Besides that, there’s Tauring, which is a non-essential amino acid responsible for inhibiting the nervous system. This is added to prevent the “jitters” that caffeine can sometimes give you. Other than these two, there’s the B vitamin complex. This is a coenzyme which keeps metabolic functions in the body happening.

That’s it! Thats all there really is in a rockstar drink. Stick with Diet rockstar to avoid the sugar, which is high glycemic and may spike your insulin. This isn’t good in the long run.
