How am I still single?
I’m an older teenager who has an awesome job that lets me buy pretty much anything; I work out three times a week, and look pretty good; I’m a theatre major and am very comfortable in my skin.. yet I’ve been single for almost two years. The universe conspires against half the girls I meet (moving away, ex-boyfriend, cancer in one case), and the other half just want sex or a party. It’s getting to the point where it’s not even funny. My parent’s think I’m gay. Is it possible some people are just truly meant to be alone?

But anyways, I met a girl! =). She’s the first one that’s younger than me, by only a few months and after not letting myself judge her or the situation. I really got to know her. She’s ghetto as F^$@ but really sweet.

I sooo get what you mean though. I know it sucks. I ask myself that too and im older than you :S my parents dont think im a lesbian but they ask me if I have a plan on getting married ever. :S grrr and I dont know what to say.
Well, first off, having money doesn’t get you into a good, stable relationship. You sound confident, which is a good thing, however just be careful not to verge on being “cocky”, because that doesn’t impress girls. But don’t worry, the right person will come along one day. Just be “open”, maybe you could look for someone. Just keep looking and I am sure that the right girl will come along. Just because you are single, that doesn’t mean that you are gay.
