I feel like I am a horrible person

It’s weird but just last night I came to this horrible conclusion. I’m simply a terrible person. I hate myself. I just can’t believe it. I don’t even know why I did it. I cried two hours straight last night just thinking about it. I didn’t eat all day today because of it. I just feel so d*mn bad. I don’t know what to do. I never really thought about the consequences. I’m not going to say what I did. Just know it’s something sooo wrong. I always say ‘omg yur horrible’ but no.. I’m horrible. I hate myself so muchh.. how can I become a better person? I’ve lied so much.. now to realize it.. It didn’t even seem like I was lying. Over a year.. gosh.. I hate myself… What should I do? I feel so bad.

Think about all the good things you’ve done or experienced. Nothing? Consider what you’re going to do then you get older. Still nothing? Talk to a doctor.

Answer #3

well first off- you need to refocus on what makes you a GOOD person, help other people- that will start you feeling better. sit down and maybe write out who it is you want to be- read it afterwards, and if it all sounds within your reach- DO IT. we all have our doubts from time to time- it is normal, and a way to inhibit self growth. change can only come from within- but first you must decide that a change is needed. the proof that you are not a truly horrible person is the fact that you posted this question. truly horrible people do not see themselves as horrible- to the contrary. good luck with your bout with self doubt.

Answer #4

Stop lying…

You’ll be amazed how much easier it is, just to be sincere all the time.

Answer #5

We all make mistakes in life (no one is perfect) … but if you can identify and improve from your mistakes then you can transform yourself into the type of person you would like to be.

Answer #6

I really wish you could say what is wrong. but you have to seperate hating yourself from doin something bad. shame distorts your image like a funhouse mirror… and after a while you start to believe it because its all you see. just because you made a mistake doesnt mean you should hate yourself. honey… I have made enough mistakes for both of us and I know what your going thru. if you want to funmail me, I would love to respond. otherwise, its fine. good luck

Answer #7

I think your a bit too young to be thinking about how bad your life is and how bad you r??…if your under 18…the truth is you wouldnt and arent liable to have accomplished anything in life yet…your acting like as if you killed someone…your MOST LIKELY going through one of those teenage stages…JUST FORGIVE URSELF and ALL is well…

Answer #8

I deserve nothing. If I died, I would have deserved it.. due to all the horrible things I have done. If someone broke my heart once again.. I would deserve it. I hate myself.

Answer #9

look just understand that whatever you did is in the past so dont regret because at some point whatever you did, you wanted to do. mayb it wasnt a smart or goood thing to do but hey whatever. you can get over the past. everyone can and I know how you feel well no just kidding I think I have some sense of how you feeel because im not my biggest fan either. if you want to feel better about urself, then go and do something for other people, homeless shelters, animal shelters, soup kitchens. there some many people you can help

Answer #10

evry1 reflects on themselves at one point in time…and believe me peope never see the good theyve donecough cough…life is FULL of MISTAKES…instead of dwelling on the past…change urself from now…if you feel like you cant change the impression you have given to evry1 of urself…well you CAN…and if people dont want to accept the NEW you then they are just a waste of your time…dont bother with them…

Answer #11

You’re not a bad person, bad people rarely recognize that they are bad. The self loathing is part of a bigger problem, and once you start discussing it with a councellor hopefully you’ll realize that. People do bad things, they hurt others and they make mistakes, that is just life and human nature, doesnt make them bad people. You need to realize that it is ok to make mistakes, and you need to learn to forgive yourself for those mistakes.

Answer #12

You’re only 14. Way too young to be criticizing yourself. Sure, you’ve made mistakes in your life but so have ALL the rest of us. The key is to recognize that we are all prone to making mistakes but that in learning from them we improve our status and worth.

Tomorrow will come and it will be brighter than your thinking today will allow you to perceive it to be.

Think positive, be positive and do positive. There is nothing negative that can’t be overcome. Life really is beautiful and much good fortune awaits you.

Answer #13

Keep going to your counsilor at school. Be honest. You will get out of it what you put in.

Answer #14

The most important person to learn how to forgive, is yourself.

Answer #15

You know I too feel like I have been a horrible person. And regardless of age, I think that the debts we create in life are long lasting and will only destroy the things we love if we don’t seek to mend them. You know in your heart what you must do. Even if it seems like nothing you can do can rectify the situation, remember this: Any amount of effort is better than no effort at all. Believe in yourself. You have the power to make things right! All it takes is a little courage, a little sacrifice, and to know that change does not come instantly, but over time.
