homeless man with blue eyes?

I was recently in washington dc on a youth volunteer group. we were helping homeless people in shelters and whatnot. I noticed that almost all of the homeless men I spoke to were black, and had blue eyes. I know its not common for a black man to have blue eyes.

so I guess my question is, what is the reason for this? is there a drug known to change eye color? or perhaps a medical situation from being on the streets with lack of hygeine or medical attention?

Answer #1

if they were elderly its very common say late 40’s

Answer #2

Why would you hep Hobo’s? They are on the street because they are to lazy to have a job. Damn crack heads.

Answer #3

perhaps they were part white but in any case, isn’t it kool ^^ it’s epic to see em with blue eyes, aye?

Answer #4

As far as I know, there is a medication that can turn light coloured eyes brown, but not the other way around, and I know of no reason for brown eyes to turn blue.

It is rare to see blue eyes in a black person, but it’s not impossible…I find it odd that you encountered so many of them.

Answer #5

hmm..I remain stumped.

Answer #6

I noticed it too . But I think that they may be just half white like she said
