Homemade tattoo

I was thinking of giving myself a really small heart tattoo with just ink from a pen and a needle do you think this is a good idea?

Answer #1

The ink from a pen won’t stay in the skin - it fades out. You need to use india ink to make a homemade tattoo, but do as steph advised and get it done professionally (I have a few that were homemade and now I wish they weren’t there)

ok thnx for the advice!

Answer #3

NO! It will turn out really crappy, always does when unprofessional people decide to give themselves home made tattoos. Not a very bright idea - save up and get it professionally done, you’ll be glad you did.

Answer #4

No… if you want to make a homemade tattoo, use something like a sharpie and draw it on NOT a needle. You’re NOT a professional tattoo artist so things could easily get f*cked up. If you don’t think you could draw it too good by yourself, have a friend do it or go to a tattoo parlor and see if they’d draw it for you. This way you know what it’ll be like and if you really like it and decide you want a real one, get it done PROFESSIONALLY. And if you think “wow… this SUCKS!” you’ll be glad to know that sharpie WILL fade or you could always take it off with nail polish remover or something.
