Your hair should not be falling out. 1st thing, From the start of application of relaxer to hair, until beginning your rinse. Should be no more than 20 minutes. 2nd thing to look for is to make sure that you always use either lye or no-lye Do not go back and forth between the two. Easy way to tell… no-lye relaxers have to be mixed. 3rd thing, make sure you are using neutralizing shampoo. (Shampoo twice) with this and make sure you keep your hair conditioned with a moisturizing conditioner. 4th thing, don’t give yourself a touch up any sooner than 6 weeks.

5th and last suggestion: Lots of salons will make their first service to a new client $20 or25 dollars. Every 6 weeks, go to a different salon that offers this service.
