hate when colored people call each other the "n" word

I hate when colored people call each other the “n” word. and they call us crackers still. if we shouldnt say it they shouldnt either right? maybe its just where I live, I dont know. colored people are nice though, im not trying to offend anyone.

Answer #1

what?? its the and word, not the and word?? isnt it the and word??

Answer #2

I for one think the “n” word is stupid for anyone to say. and that black people say hey “whats up ngger/ngga”. cause its the white people in history which gave them the nick name. I mean really lots of them dont even take that into consideration. and dga I see what you are saying but me being mexican has its offenses which we say beaner to each other but when any other race calls me that I dont take offense. cause for me to take offense and say it to my fellows is hypocritical. I think that lots of the black community need to absorb the knowledge given and use it. for goodness sakes America has put a whole month of consideration for the blacks. but I kinda see it as a joke since not very many pay attention to why its there. you never hear or saw Martin Luther say it to anyone. Why cause he took offense about it from anyone. and now that Obama is Mr P lots of black kids or teens think hey we can do whatever we want now. “ We run this” ? if that is to be put it in a positive prospective and show why you deserve this. I want a mexican to president whether its a man or woman but I wont let it get to my head. im sure lots of mexicans will but that only makes the President look bad. So racial comments or slurrs only make society more racist or just look bad.

Answer #3

I think neither one should call each other cracker or black or the and word. if you want to call us something say caucasion or african american sheesh. OR BY OUR NAME! SHEESH

Answer #4

I completely agree and I think its so wrong!! im white too tho, but still. it IS racism, but I dont get it when they call US the racist ones.

Answer #5

I find nothing wrong with black people calling each other the and word. I do it all the time with my friends just joking around. but if they call a white person a cracker or something then they are being hypocrites(err…did I spell that right?) and it’s wrong. they are being racist

Answer #6

I think you shouldn’t call african americans ‘COLORED’ either. That goes back to slavery times also. I personally think they can call each other what they wanna call each other, why is it hurting you? trust and believe there not the only ones calling us crackers, seems to me like your singling them out and thats not right! if they want to reclaim their word I think its only fair that they do. Of course it would offend them if you or me said it and I completely understand why. I say its OK for them to use the word

Answer #7

hahah you can call them black..im sure theyd prefer that over colored. And its the “N” word not the and word. Look it up in the dictionary youd be suprised what it means. A lot of white people fit the definition. Just the New Aged term is so out of whack its sad. just call them a dingleberry next time

Answer #8

we call each other the “N” because thats who we are.. its just like given labels to people. like preps and nerds. we call our frends the “n” word not to offend them but because they are like us.. and if people call you craker then well thats there problem. like a said its like labelin themself!

Answer #9

First of all not ALL BLACK people use the “N” word! Some black people find it very ignorant and offensive for anyone to use! It’s not right to label all black people as using the “n” word. Second of all…it is BLACK people not colored people. That is really offensive & is a term from the 1960’s!

Answer #10

Where I live that is often the case to. I’m not sure why it passes when colored people call white people offense terms. I think its to do with whites and blacks history. But yes it is common where ilive to and I dont understnad it either

Answer #11

Yeah I agree with you I would never call anyone by a racist name as a believe in equality. But some people hear them saying these worlds and think it is suitable to call them the same thing Meh, society is confusing.

Answer #12

what difference does it make to you when people choose to reclaim a name? as for people insulting you, yes that is racism and yes it is wrong…

Answer #13

“but its alright to call us crackers and anything they desire but we call them one name and its racist.. I dont get it…”

Answer #14

actually this happens everywhere. No one should call someone any name that puts emphasis on the color of their skin. Whether this is Euro-Americans calling African Americans the N-word, or AM’s calling EM’s Cracker. it’s all racism. You shouldn’t tolerate it when they call you cracker just like they don’t like it if you use the N-word. No one alive in this country today ever owned a slave, and no one alive in this country today ever was a slave.

The only thing the name calling does, is reinforce boundaries, that both sides fought hard to destroy. Remember that there are upstanding citizens of both lineages who do not use these sorts of terms.

There are actually people today who believe that there is no such thing as racism against EA’s. so many many people are just ignorant.

Answer #15

being a black women I have to say honestly when we say the word we arent thinking about the history behind the word, right now in todays generation the and word is simply another slang. however black people will still take it offensive depending on who said it, and how it was said. doesnt really make any since but thats how it is…

Answer #16

I use the ‘n’ wordd. and im white ! nothing wrong with it; its like sayingg friend or buddy or w.e in a ghetto wayyy.
