How can I highlight my hair?

Okay so my cousin highlighted my hair a few months ago and I would like to retouch then, she dyed it dark brown and did highlights, but I really don’t know how she did it, I have developer, bleach powder, brown hair dye, and the cap. I also want to know how can apply my toner to my bleached hair Someone please help :/

You could either get it professionally done at a salon or you could buy a box of dye at a store and try it that way, or you could try home remedies for highlighting your hair. Such as if you have blonde/light brown hair and you want blonde highlights, put some lemon juice in a bottle and spray it on the sections of your hair that you want highlighted and sit in the sun for a while. (I recommend over 15 minutes) this will only work in the summer time though..

I’d have it done professional and take video or notes while they’re doing it. So I’ll know how to do it when I go home. Or ask a family member who does hair to show you how to do it step by step. I think there are a few videos on Youtube on how to highlight your hair.
