What does a hernia feel like?

WHAT KIND of pain would you be in?
I am wondering because my dad has a lot of pain in his lower abdomen lately it seems. and he thinks it could be a hernia, which i would think possible but i never learned about how hernias feel, like the type of pain they would experience.

I don’t really know, but I know I had one when i was born. It had to do something with my twin brother’s position in the womb. My mother recalls me crying for hours I think even days.

Ask him to see a doctor would be more important then getting medical advice on here. From what I know, Hernia could be from lifting too heavy stuff. I know when people have their pre-employment medical examinations, it is one of the essential thing the doctors check for. They ask people to “cough” a few times and they place one of their hands on the side of your tummy, not exactly sure what that means thou. Best to drag your dad to see the doctors.

Imagine a school of Piranhas mixed with an army of Fire Ants gnawing at your side while somebody is pouring boiling water and lemon juice in the wound. Then when all of that seizes, somebody is constantly kicking you in your side and whipping you with a dirty tea-towel.
