HELP!! the sims 3 wont run!!

so I just bought the sims 3, installed it, and then went to play it… but it didnt work. it went to a black screen for a second or so and then went back to my orignal desktop. how do I fix this issue?

I try to installe the sims but on my computer it didnt show up

I got a macbook, so it runs on it now! woohoo! go mac graphic cards!

I had to reboot my computer.My book got tore I’m missing two numbers or letters off my code to register my game. What can I do to receieve my code

you may need a better video card, or even a better computer. Check the minimum requirements on the box of the game. Minimum, by the way, really means minimum and the game will look terrible if played on a system like that. If you meet the required specs then you may want to adjust you video card settings or the video settings in the game settings options.
