Help me find this song

Ok, im afraid I cant give you many details but its a new song sung by a guy. and in chorus says something about dancing and being 12 steps behind?

I looked at both, at def leppard in particular before it didn’t seem to have the same lyrics as what sarahwh was looking for, but I may be wrong. The one I found mentioned dancing and being 2 steps back
