How can I stop my friend from being heartbroken?

My friend is dating this guy who lives two hours away, and she’s never met him. He is 16 years old, he was stabbed, he’s rich, he owns his own house, he has a full scholarship to a university for hockey, his stepmom, who was a Victoria Secret model, just passed away, his grandma just died from cancer, his dad is suicidal, and whenever she goes to see him he’s always gone. All of my other friends think he is a fake and has been lying to her this whole time, but she doesn’t listen to us.

Dear cass, When getting emotionally involved with some one over the internet there are special precautions…one of course using some common sense. Your friend is obviously not using any here. You will be a true friend if you are honest with her about it. We can tell by the information that this is very far fetched and over the top. She is the type that should stay away from having emotional relationships on the internet. Be a good friend and tell her this story is most likely not real and that she needs to find ways of meeting people in person. She just doesn’t have the maturity yet. Sue…good luck

i hate to tell you but that sounds like shes gonna go from <3 to </3 and get her heartbroke i dont know wat to tell you but be there for her i guess
