when I pee, that left side hurts REALLYYY bad

It is always best to be safe than sorry and see the doctor. You really won’t know for sure until you do.

In most similar cases, however, it is just an infection and the doctor will simply prescribe an antibiotic that you will probably have to take for about ten days.

As “alittleconfused” stated, it could possibly also be something else such as kidney stones, cysts on the ovaries, ovulation… or what ever. So simply make a phone call and get it checked out. That’s your best bet.

In the meantime, try taking some Advil and put a heating pad where the pain is. That may help.

It could most likely be a Urinary Tract Infection. Please see your doctor as soon as possible.

Probably an infection. I get them all the time because I do also suffer with kidney stones, and when kidney stones shift they can cause infection.

If it’s something like a kidney stone… they cause a general ache until they get stuck - when this happens… there isn’t even a word to describe the pain, it’s bloody agonizing!! (Apparently worse than childbirth, and I have these attacks all the time!!)

Drink plenty of water (as hard as it is, I know!!), and LOTS of cranberry juice. You do want to see a doctor because if it is something like a kidney infection… they can get really bad extremely fast and you’d have to be admitted into a hospital for a week or two until they calm the infection.
