just ask questions to find out what he likes then talk about that stuff. I do it with girls I like ALL the time. one time, I spent 3 hours talking with this girl and all we did was ask questions to eachother

You dont have to know about his favorite things, just ask him questions, you’ll learn more about it, then you can have a conversation. Also you can just talk about general stuff… Music, books, movies, their childhood, places you’ve been to, your day, just stuff…
