What's the best way to handle depression?

what is the best way to handle depression…I need help, friends, and love. All of which no one has ever givin me (except my dog that died last night :(…) I need help. my world is going crazy, and I cant control anything? any friends out there? any help?

Definately go to your doctor. Prozac should be prescribed by a doctor not recommended by a friend or anyone else. Each medication reacts different to each individual so please don’t think that Prozac will definately be for you. Your doctor will prescribe the right medication after you have sat and told him how you feel. I took Seroxat and ended up head butting the wall, my partner takes it and he’s ok… only ever take what is prescribed by the professionals.

Good luck, but you must go see your doctor about your depression.

two of a kind makes me feel a little better that someone feels just like me, unforetunatly I got nothing and I feel just as crappy, so when you find a solution please tell me. oh and add me if you like love to have a new bud.

well it could be worse when I wa 12 my dad died and now I am havin 4 major surgery on my arm it is paralized I was in a car accident and I want my dad was here…

I recommend my personal good friend “Prozac (fluoxtine)” He works awesome! Once he started making me feel normal I had the energy to go get new friends and make my life better!

You know there are other ways on taking care of depression depending on how severe it is… But PROZAC does work after a month or so of use.. But do you really want to rely on drugs to make you normal. What is normal?

Oh my god…I am so sorry that your poor little pup past away.. This must be really tough on you… Life sucks huh??? I feel you, at times! Just keep your head up and have a positive attitude and things will fall into place… God luck with everything babe. You no the first thing to handle depression is support. Go get a circle of friends you can trust and family, if you have it.. Then just talk about your problems and get it out. Dont keep them bottled in or you may explode in ways you never could imagine.. Just talk about your feeling and how you feel or write it down in a journal. Talk to your school if you go and they can pointe you to some one you can talk to.. Or you can go through a state mental health program for free. There are options for you.

thanks all, but I dont have money 2 buy prozac, and I dont want to rely on drugs like njlazuka said, so pleeze, I need more suggestions because being depressed sux and I dont have any friends
