Can you be pregnant with a heavy period?

Can you still be pregnant if your period is heavy fer a day then light?

Answer #1

Hi,

Many mothers-to-be get a few days of bleeding right around the time that the early embryo is burrowing into the wall of the uterus. On average, this occurs five days after conception and may be confused with an early period, especially if the woman is not keeping close track of her cycles.

This implantation bleeding is normal and is not a sign of any problem with the pregnancy. The biggest problem with implantation bleeding is that it can lead to a mistakenly later due date if it is counted as a menstrual period.

Hope that helps.

Answer #2

I’m not sure I got Implantation bleeding on the 2nd may then got my period 2 weeks later and its now September and I came 1 day late for no reason so I’m not sure. Some women say I had a period when pregnant and it looked normal but some websites are saying you can’t but if some women have experienced it then I believe them

It could be a possible miscarriage.
