Who has heard the story of the boy who was brought up as a girl?

This is a video we watched in a gender class. Until I took a gender course I never realized how complicated gender really is. Apart from the fact that there really are more than two sexes (XX and XY are not the only two combinations possible), there’s multiple effects on the body depending on the chromosomal combination and the hormonal influences in the womb. You cant tell what gender a person is based on either chromosomes or physical appearance. And gender is something you’re born with and people start to express from a very young age.

I remember watching a show about him on television. A very sad story. It made me very angry that a doctor exploited this person and tried to make as much profit off of him as possible. Very tragic.
