Why can't I hear my YouTube videos?

My cousin made me get a youtube account because she’s starting a vlog and she doesn’t want to seem stupid, so she’s using me to make her seem smart. I don’t really care so I just went along with it. I recorded a video, but when I previewed it I couldn’t hear anything. Before I started recording it said that everything was set up right.

first check the volume on the camera, then check your computer speaker volume, then check the computer volume, then check the volume on the youtube video cause it has separate volume. If it isn’t one of those i don’t know

Are your drivers updated? Or perhaps it’s a problem with your browser? Do you have the latest flash plug-in installed?
