He has a girlfriend but I like him, could it happen?

Ok there is this guy at school who I have liked since the 6th grade (im in the 10th now)he always stares at me and today we sat next to each other for a program and he was playing with his phone and shaking his leg (was he nervous) but I really like him..I belive I am in love wth him .but he has a girlfriend…I catch him staring at me sometimes..but he’s shy..his girlfriend is so mean to him sometimes too..I respect they are together..but should I let him know how I feel?? (what would she think..I dont want her to be hurt… I have been hurt before)But he is like my love! What should I do…if I knew for sure he liked me..that would be enough…I would be happy without him..but just knowing he liked me would be enough..should I tell him?

you should definitely tell him. I have made the mistake of not telling a guy before, and I really regret it. who knows… maybe hell leave her for you???
