He asked about her, why not me?

I’m trying to forget about my ex (he’s worst on drugs, I need to forget) and I went out on saturday and I’m crushing bad on my brothers friend. he went out with me and my sister in law and brother, he was the designated driver. He is so responsible, and this is the second time we go out with friends and he is there. we love the same music. he’s very funny, and cute. but he sees me as a friend, he asked me on Saturday if my friend had a boyfriend. I told him “kind of”. he smiled. was it wrong of me. She’s like my bestfriend, but I’m tired of stepping aside everytime my crush likes her. But he doesn’t see me as something else, I think he sees me as a friend. we danced all nite again but I feel like he probably wanted to dance with someone else or my bestfriend. I kept trying to push my friend to someone else, so he can see she likes other type of guys. I haven’t told her anything. should I ask him out, or should I make the first move. what if he says no, then it’ll never be the same between us, it would be awkward. what do I do?? step away, or make the first move.

honestly it wud b best if you just stepped away for u’ll only end up hurting yourself, I know what the situation is that you have now found urself in, a lot of people may say they know when they really dont, but all you can do now is c what the world has in store 4 u

plenty of times a female friend of mine has told me that she has feelings for me, or I tell a female friend of mine I have feelings for her. And I can honestly say it never made anything awkward, a little at first but thats all. but what you have to understand is that he’s your brothers friend. thats a big boundary issue for him. You can’t just start dating your friends sister, its like a slap in the face to your friend. Im actually in love with my best friends sister, and the only one who knows it is me. If I told him he would either break my legs, seriously, or it would make things really wierd between us. I might love the girl but its not worth loosing my friendship with her bro
