Having a child? Too Soon?

My friend is 17 and she loves children. She has worked with them at a daycare for a year. She has been babysitting since she was 13. Sometimes she tells me she wants a baby but then again she does not because she does not even have a boyfriend. She tells me that she is still is in love with her ex and he is 19. He even told her what if I got you prego and she said it would be okay since she loves children and worked with them. Also she asked him if he would be there for her and he said yeah. what should I tell her. I am lost wit works. Thanks. Maria.

She turns 18 in four months. But what if her ex that she gets with has a good job but he does have a good job now; and he is getting his own place in like two months?

Tell her to wait till she is 18 at least because If he got her pregnant now her ex would get charged with statitory rape. Also tell her to wait till she is sure that she could support the child just incase something does happen and the ex isn’t there. A 17 year old can not support a child properly because they can’t work full time.
