Has anyone ever tried Westvleteren Trappist beer?

Not very well known in North America, or even in Europe, but the Trappist monasteries in Belgium make some of the best beer in the world. And the St. Sixtus Abbey in Westvleteren makes a beer that many beer connoisseurs rank as the world’s best beer.

It’s very, VERY hard to get. They only sell a certain amount, and you have to call during a certain time of day to place your order. I placed an order, drove up to the abbey, and got my beer. And it is the best thing I have ever poured into a glass and drank.

Has anyone else had this beer, or any of the other Trappist beers? How did they compare with what you normally drink?
