jgpimp, your regionalism is showing. The original title of the first book is … wait for it, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone — in England where it was first published. It was changed to Sorcerer’s Stone because the American publishers figured that Americans couldn’t figure out that it was what the early alchemists sought that would turn common metals to gold.
