Its just that I found an outfit behind a deamon door in Fable 2 called ‘Harlequin trousers, shirt and cap’.

Basically a comedian, like a clown. Or according to this.

Harlequin is also a colour. Described as being located between green and yellow (closer to green than to yellow).

Harlequin is also an adjective used to describe something that is colored in a pattern, usually a diamond shaped pattern (similar to the dress traditionally associated to Harlequins.)

its a few things but from what your describing id say also definatly that the trousers are just diamond patterned, mulitcoloured or just varied colours
